Dublin’ public transport system is far from being a modern sustainable network. There are very few incentives for people with cars to switch over to public transport, despite the recent campaign by Dublin Bus. The only rapid transport connections are two light rail lines (Luas), which don’t connect and a coastal commuter train service, which also does not connect to inland rail traffic.

The state of available information graphics is particularly poor. Though coherent transport maps are the most important element to making a public transport network accessible.
